Who's
going
Does
the sound of a two stroke engine screaming down the road stop you in
your tracks...
Do
you nod knowingly when someone starts talking about squish clearances,
expansion pipes, TDC, and main jets...
Does
the smell of burnt two stroke put a smile on your face...
Does
the sight of someone’s else scooter not starting, but yours does, make
you laugh (or swear loudly when it’s you)...
Have
you felt the pain of a holed piston/knackered barrel, a resto which
involved a foot long visa statement or selling a beloved scooter in the
80s for the value of four pints...
You’ll
not be alone then.
The
national scooterist run is open to any Vespa or Lambretta owner or
enthusiast. The event is
shaping up to be one the largest gathering of geared Italian scooters
(or derivatives – Serveta, SIL, API etc) ever held in Australia.
A
number of clubs from across Australia and overseas will be attending,
but you don’t need to be a member of a club to attend - either own
or have a passion for all things Vespa and Lambretta and you’ll be in
good company.
